PILATES CLASSES

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, Pilates is a full-body, low-impact exercise method based on six core principles: breath, centering, concentration, control, precision, and flow. It promotes strength, stability, flexibility, posture, balance, and body awareness, supporting efficient, controlled movement in daily life.

Exercises can be performed on a mat or specialized equipment—such as the Reformer, Cadillac (Trapeze Table), or Wunda Chair—which use spring-based resistance to safely challenge muscles through their full range of motion. Pilates is often integrated into rehabilitation and preventative programs to restore mobility, enhance core stability, and support overall musculoskeletal health.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Dr. Mary Ann Adornato, PT, DPT provides individualized, one-on-one physical therapy sessions specializing in Pilates-based rehabilitation, grounded in clinical evaluation and evidence-based intervention. Treatment plans are developed to address injury rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, postural and movement dysfunction, and functional limitations. Care is focused on restoring mobility, improving strength and neuromuscular control, and supporting safe, long-term functional outcomes.

WELLNESS RETREATS

Our wellness retreats are thoughtfully designed to offer a restorative balance of movement, relaxation, and cultural immersion. Set in inspiring locations, each retreat blends Pilates-based movement, therapeutic care, and mindful practices to support both physical well-being and mental reset. Guests are invited to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and experience wellness in a way that feels intentional, nurturing, and deeply rejuvenating.
